Isolation Procedures

Isolation Procedures are key processes that all workers should learn when working on/around machinery or equipment. To reduce the risk of danger, machinery should be isolated and “zero energy” should be established. Do you know what “zero energy” is? Would you know what to use to isolate a machine? Do you know the step by step process of Lockout – Tagout safety?

This course is suitable for all workplaces and industrial sites. In this course you will learn about the different equipment to use and methods of isolating machines and establishing “zero energy”. You will also learn about the important and effective safe practices when going to isolate a machine or moving parts on equipment, 5 basic steps to lock out safety, procedures for releasing a machine from lock out and much more.

Lockout-Tagout / Isolation Procedures are important for not just operators but also maintenance staff, contractors, cleaners and any other persons who may be required to work around or near moving parts of machinery. This course has been designed and created so it is relevant to everyone and they can understand the importance of Isolation Procedures.
